今天，我們即將把“i2外教說”的鏡頭聚焦到i2外教Matt老師身上。

In my impression， since I could remember，
I have been in a pursuit of a best me，
And also encouraged others to do the same thing。
在我的印象中，自懂事以來，
我一直追求成為最好的自己，並鼓勵別人也做同樣的事情。
Being a teacher of either soccer or dance，
I believed that“being a tutor”simply means:
teaching skills to others,
showing enthusiasm and passion.
不管是做一名足球教練還是舞蹈老師，
那時簡單地以為：
“導師”的角色
，就是帶著飽滿的熱情，教授他人學習技能。

Till I arrived in this beautiful country with rich culture，
Here，
I discovered an even broader definition for “being a tutor”——
being trustworthy
。
直到我來到這個美麗而富有文化的國家，
來到這裡，
對於“導師”的角色有了更深刻的定義——
做一名深得信賴的老師。
I still remember that when Igave the first class for the kids here，
I was so nervous and excited。
At that time， I was wondering
whether the kids would like me
。
我還記得在這裡給孩子們上第一節課，
心裡充滿忐忑、緊張、興奮與未知。
那時我在想：
孩子們會喜歡我嗎？
Why Abby did not like speaking？
Why Keven was so restless？
And why the attention of Max was always distracted？
為什麼Abby不喜歡開口？
為什麼Keven會如此好動？
為什麼Max的注意力總是在別處？
The “why” about every child had become a “question” I was eager to understand。
The “growth and progress” of every child had pushed me to “grow” too。
At that time， I had not realized that they were stepping stones to improve myself。
每一個孩子身上的“為什麼”，成了我一個個迫切想了解的“未知”。
每一個孩子身上的“進步成長”也促使我不斷提升。
當時我還沒有意識到這些是我進階路上的墊腳石。

The personality changes of the kids，
their improvement in English，
and expression of love
hadbecome a driving force for my exploration。
孩子們性格的變化，
語言能力的成長，
有愛的表達
成了我沉浸在其中不斷探索的動力。
In the constant interactions with them，
I had a new way of dialogue with the kids。
They have surprised me every time when they said “let me try”。
And they have made me feel at home every time when they “give me five”。
在不斷的你來我往中，
也和孩子們有了新的對話方式。
他們每一次的“let me try”都讓我驚喜。
他們每一次的“give me five”都讓我倍感親切。

I have begun to understand the meaning of a tutor：
Being a tutor ， Being trustworthy。
我開始瞭解成為一名導師的含義：
做一名值得信賴的老師。
Seize every chance to share with and help others,
and make them excellent and better.
More excellent people are here。
抓住每一個和他人分享、幫助他人的機會，
使他們成為更好的人。
更多優秀的人，在這裡。

這不僅是Matt對“老師”這個身份的理解
更是i2信奉的教育理念
Trust originates from enthusiasm，
and success comes from trust。
因為熱愛，所以信賴。
